Associate Director - Cost Management

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management services and quantity surveying for key clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, including general contractors and owner’s representatives
• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management activities
• Provide leadership and direction to the cost management team, including coaching and mentoring talent
• Drive best practices by identifying opportunities to improve procedures, processes, and templates
• Manage project financials, including tracking margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts
• Develop market understanding to act as a brand ambassador and create new business opportunities
• Advise clients on contracting and procurement strategies across various industries

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry
• RICS certification or equivalent professional accreditation
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience in a construction consultancy environment is strongly preferred
