Associate Director, Corporate Affairs

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive government affairs strategy across Greater China
• Monitor, analyze, and anticipate regulatory, legislative, and political developments
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with central and local government bodies and regulators
• Represent Hasbro in industry associations such as AmCham and USCBC
• Lead responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations, and emerging public policy risks
• Partner with Commercial, Legal, Compliance, and Communications teams to align on priorities
• Develop key messaging and external communications in alignment with Global Corporate Affairs

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in corporate affairs, government relations, or public policy
• Strong experience operating in Mainland China
• Proven track record of engaging with Chinese government bodies and regulators
• Experience in consumer products, entertainment, or digital content preferred
• Deep understanding of China's regulatory landscape regarding product safety, marketing, and digital content
• Native Mandarin fluency
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Broader Greater China exposure (Hong Kong/Taiwan)
• Background in public affairs consultancy, trade associations, or government institutions
