Associate Director, Communications Design

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of detailed communications plans to power brand ideas
• Present holistic Connections Design approaches to relevant stakeholders
• Manage day-to-day client requirements and workflow related to Communications Design
• Present client education programs regarding marketplace trends
• Oversee management and training of the design team in communications planning fundamentals
• Spearhead best practice application of planning approaches across owned, earned, shared, and paid (OESP) channels
• Write and manage outputs from RFP submissions in collaboration with Partnerships leads
• Contribute to client KPI delivery and Specialty Business Unit growth

Requirements

• Experience in an integrated planning role in media, publisher, vendor, or communications discipline
• Ability to delegate and oversee direct reports
• Proven ability to maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of experience managing or developing staff
• Relevant category or audience experience
• Proven problem-solving ability
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines under pressure
