Associate Director, Commercial Digital Technology and AI

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the strategic technology blueprint for the Commercial landscape, serving as the chief architect for platforms, data, and innovation.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Commercial Technology “City Plan” mapping platforms, data flows, and integration layers.
• Partner with Commercial business leaders to translate strategic objectives into technology capabilities and architectural roadmaps.
• Lead architecture design for high-impact use cases, including customer journey orchestration, sales force automation, and digital marketing.
• Establish and enforce architecture governance frameworks, integration standards, and canonical data models.
• Drive innovation through experimentation zones and technology radar assessments to enable modularity and agility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT or Enterprise Architecture, specifically within Commercial or customer-facing domains.
• Deep expertise in Commercial platforms such as Salesforce, Veeva, or Adobe Experience Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of data ecosystems and analytics platforms like Databricks and cloud infrastructure such as Azure.
• Proven ability to influence senior business leaders and act as a trusted advisor on technology decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with agile delivery models, DevOps practices, and composable architecture.
• Professional certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe, or relevant cloud platform certifications.
