Associate Director, Clinical Research Physician, Neuroscience

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary medical monitor for clinical trials, providing medical accountability and oversight for multiple studies.
• Drive clinical development strategy and design for neuroscience studies in China, ensuring alignment with global development plans.
• Analyze and interpret clinical trial data to support development decisions and regulatory submissions.
• Provide medical and scientific expertise to cross-functional teams, including input on protocols, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and safety considerations.
• Lead medical data reviews and manage site interactions regarding medical questions and safety management.
• Establish scientific partnerships with external clinical experts and academic leaders in China to gather disease area insights.
• Author and draft clinical content for regulatory reports, CSRs, and scientific publications.

Requirements

• MD degree (or equivalent).
• 7+ years of industry experience, specifically in neurology or registrational clinical trials as a medical monitor.
• Proven clinical practice experience as a neurologist.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written).
• Strong understanding of medical oversight, statistical methods, and regulatory health authority expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience in leading and managing clinical development programs in the neuroscience area.
• Specific expertise in Alzheimer's disease.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with external experts in Neurology and Alzheimer's disease.
