About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain translational and clinical biomarker strategies to support portfolio assets from phase 1 to phase 3 studies
  • Support biomarker-related aspects of trial design, including assay development, patient sample acquisition, and study protocols
  • Participate in cross-functional teams such as clinical working groups and clinical study execution teams
  • Work with internal translational groups, CROs, and collaborators to develop and validate assays for clinical use
  • Manage outsourcing to CROs, including scope of work, contracting, budgets, and timelines
  • Collaborate with Clinical Bioinformatics and Cancer Genomics to support analysis of biomarker readouts

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in cancer biology, cell/molecular biology, genomics, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of clinical biomarker and/or assay development experience in industry
  • Proven track record in the development, validation, and clinical implementation of biomarker readouts
  • Experience working with Contract Research Organizations (CROs)
  • Strong scientific, business, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with targeted oncology therapies or RAS/MAPK pathway biology
  • Biological understanding of pancreatic, non-small cell lung, and/or colorectal cancers
  • Familiarity with genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic biomarker platforms
  • Familiarity with analytical software for integrating clinical and biomarker datasets
