About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end data stewardship and data flows for core climate, impact, and innovation datasets within the enterprise data platform.
- Execute strategic product roadmap initiatives for sustainability data, including new dataset launches, refresh cycles, and delivery enhancements.
- Ensure data quality, governance, standardization, and traceability across all stages of the data lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data flows, processes, controls, and dependencies across systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Operations, Technology, Research, and Product teams to enable successful delivery of new datasets.
- Partner with Client Services to address time-sensitive data delivery issues and contribute to long-term strategy improvements.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Stewardship, or Operations within the financial or data industry.
- Proficiency with data management and database tools such as Databricks, SQL, ETL, and data visualization.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Proven ability to lead independently and collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas to leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on programming experience, preferably with Python.
- Knowledge of the ESG/sustainability domain, including methodologies, regulatory landscapes, and market trends.
- Experience using AI tools like Spark Assist or Co-Pilot to improve data efficiency.
