Associate Director Client Services, Bioanalytical

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Strategic Sales and the Bioanalytical Laboratory to align customer expectations with laboratory capabilities.
• Hire and supervise the BAL Client Services team to coordinate logistics for sample testing studies.
• Collaborate with senior management and principal investigators to support new business and ensure timely delivery of high-quality data.
• Support pre-sales and post-sales activities, including participating in meetings and drafting quotes or statements of work (SOWs).
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to customer-facing and internal administrative processes.
• Coordinate and escalate communications to mitigate impacts of changes to project scope, budget, or resources.
• Provide key performance metrics to the BAL executive team and MSD management review board.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in customer-facing, technical support, or consultative roles.
• 4+ years of direct or indirect supervisory experience managing teams.
• Experience working in GXP regulated environments (GLP or GCLP highly preferred).
• Broad knowledge of laboratory operations and immunoassay workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a bioanalytical contract research organization (CRO).
• Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC).
• Experience with MSD’s immunoassay platform or other multiplexing technologies.
• Experience with MS Project or other project management software.
