About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive client retention, account planning, and sales strategy within the South Korean marketplace, specifically focusing on ESG, Climate, Factor, Thematic, and Multi-Asset indices.
- Cultivate and manage revenue-generating relationships with asset managers, ETF issuers, insurance companies, investment banks, and other market participants.
- Pitch new index concepts, negotiate contracts, and sell consultatively to prospective and existing clients.
- Identify new licensing opportunities and proactively sell index IP, data, and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, product management, and research, to develop new index concepts and deliver client value.
- Monitor the usage of intellectual property and ensure compliance with licensed terms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of successful track record in relationship management or revenue generation.
- Proven sales experience in South Korea with a specific focus on ETPs.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- In-depth industry knowledge of capital markets, including trends in core index, asset, and wealth management.
- Proficiency in both Korean and English.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills with an outstanding executive presence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving sales revenue of ESG and Climate-related products across financial institutions.
- Experience managing contracts, commercial terms, and fee proposals.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders within a highly matrixed organization.
