Associate Director CI&I

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to the Counterintelligence & Investigations (CI&I) team to foster a best-in-industry program
• Serve as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) and drive the strategic vision for the Insider Threat Program (ITP)
• Mentor and develop investigators, manage workloads, and ensure consistent application of investigative standards
• Chair the cross-functional Insider Threat Program Management Team (ITPMT)
• Provide executive-level briefings on significant investigations involving the loss of company or government information
• Collaborate with US Government customers, federal liaison partners, and internal stakeholders to execute CI and InT initiatives
• Partner with Strategic Business Unit (SBU) leads to ensure all CI and InT expectations are addressed

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience (or an Advanced Degree with 10 years of experience)
• Active and transferable U.S. Government issued Top-Secret security clearance required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Experience leading geographically dispersed investigative teams
• Experience leading highly detailed, complex internal investigations in a regulated environment
• Experience developing threat assessments and risk mitigation strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior law enforcement investigative and leadership experience
• Five or more years of prior Insider Threat program management and investigative experience
• Certification by a federal credentialing CI or investigative agency
• Insider Threat Manager Certification (e.g., ITPSO, Carnegie Mellon ITPM)
• Experience with investigations involving CI, SCI, SAP, and/or ITAR/EAR violations
• Familiarity with DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1 through 4
