About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Center for Elder Justice.
- Support the Director in advancing the Center’s mission through program management, fundraising, and community outreach.
- Partner with faculty and Development & Alumni Relations to identify fundraising priorities and cultivate donor opportunities.
- Monitor grant opportunities and draft initial grant applications for faculty.
- Collaborate with Communications to design and implement strategic marketing, social media, and advertising campaigns.
- Manage the LL.M. program, including applicant recruitment, adjunct professor recruitment, and student advising.
- Supervise Center staff, fellows, student workers, and pro bono volunteers.
- Oversee budget administration, including running projections, conducting year-to-date analysis, and drafting annual budgets.
- Develop and manage workflows, timelines, and task assignments for Center projects.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Canva.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to inclusive excellence and fostering a welcoming environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Admission to the Florida Bar.
- Experience in legal education or Continuing Legal Education (CLE).
- Experience in fundraising and grant-writing.
