Associate Director, Center for Elder Justice

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Center for Elder Justice.
• Support the Director in advancing the Center’s mission through program management, fundraising, and community outreach.
• Partner with faculty and Development & Alumni Relations to identify fundraising priorities and cultivate donor opportunities.
• Monitor grant opportunities and draft initial grant applications for faculty.
• Collaborate with Communications to design and implement strategic marketing, social media, and advertising campaigns.
• Manage the LL.M. program, including applicant recruitment, adjunct professor recruitment, and student advising.
• Supervise Center staff, fellows, student workers, and pro bono volunteers.
• Oversee budget administration, including running projections, conducting year-to-date analysis, and drafting annual budgets.
• Develop and manage workflows, timelines, and task assignments for Center projects.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Canva.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to inclusive excellence and fostering a welcoming environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• Experience in legal education or Continuing Legal Education (CLE).
• Experience in fundraising and grant-writing.
