Associate Director, Business Systems Support

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple software development and analytics teams to deliver high-quality system enhancements and custom client solutions
• Oversee client-specific system customization for study setup and ensure accurate implementation
• Develop advanced SQL scripts for querying, data manipulation, and project-specific edits
• Create and maintain the data dictionary for the protocol management system
• Prioritize and manage the backlog of custom client requests to ensure timely delivery
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development guidance to team members
• Influence organizational decision-making and contribute to budget, policy, and process development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in software development, database engineering, or business systems support
• Proven experience leading development teams and managing complex technical projects
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Azure, and database scripting
• Experience with agentic AI tools for code development, such as Cursor and Claude
• Strong background in migrating legacy dashboards and leveraging modern analytics platforms like Tableau
