Associate Director, Biostatistics

Responsibilities

• Serve as a study level statistician for oncology studies
• Represent biostatistics on study and project teams
• Provide statistical expertise for design, analysis, and reporting of clinical studies
• Collaborate on study design, protocol development, and statistical methodology
• Develop statistical analysis plans and analysis specifications
• Partner with statistical programming to ensure analysis follows specifications
• Collaborate with data management and clinical operations for robust data collection
• Provide statistical input for regulatory interactions and health authority submissions
• Assist in data interpretation and ensure accuracy in publications
• Contribute to functional-level standards, SOPs, and templates

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Statistics/Biostatistics with 5+ years of experience or M.S. with 8+ years of experience
• Experience in biotech/pharma industry as a statistician for clinical trials
• Hands-on experience in design and analysis of oncology trials
• Proficiency in SAS and/or R
• Ability to apply advanced statistical methods like Bayesian methods or predictive modeling
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and project management skills
