Associate Director, Annual Giving

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive annual giving strategy to increase participation and revenue.
• Lead integrated solicitation programs including direct mail, digital outreach, and crowdfunding.
• Manage the Leadership Annual Giving program, qualifying and cultivating donors with capacity between $1,000 and $50,000.
• Plan and execute signature fundraising events such as Bryant Giving Day and the President’s Cup Golf Tournament.
• Develop data-driven marketing strategies and personalized outreach for alumni, parents, and key donor groups.
• Supervise and mentor a team, including an Assistant Director and an Annual Giving Associate.
• Maintain accurate donor records and utilize data analytics to optimize solicitation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3–5 years of experience in annual giving or fundraising, preferably in higher education.
• Strong writing and editing skills for appeal and stewardship content.
• Proven experience in project management and multi-initiative coordination.
• Solid understanding of digital marketing and donor stewardship.
• Proficiency with fundraising databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with frontline fundraising and managing a donor portfolio.
• Experience supervising staff and student workers.
• Proficiency with online giving platforms, crowdfunding tools, and web or design software.
• Experience integrating AI tools into fundraising workflows.
