Associate Director, Alumni Giving

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an overall strategy to maximize reunion giving for key milestone class years
• Recruit and manage reunion committee members, including goal setting, leading meetings, and planning class events
• Serve as the central coordinator for reunion giving efforts, aligning strategy across staff and volunteer initiatives
• Partner with prospect managers to identify and solicit major gifts to multiply support during milestone years
• Build and manage a portfolio of reunion and non-reunion prospects to develop strong relationships and solicit gifts
• Prepare data analysis and reports to understand class capabilities and track development projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of related experience in development or alumni relations
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Proficiency with word processing (including mail and email merges) and spreadsheets
• Experience with presentation software such as PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities under changing deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a university or other complex organizational structure
