Associate Director, AI Operations & Enablement

Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise AI strategy into function-level execution by partnering with leaders across the firm on roadmap creation and delivery
• Manage the AI use case portfolio by surfacing, prioritizing, and tracking the ROI of new initiatives
• Design and execute AI learning programs and change management initiatives to drive company-wide adoption
• Oversee AI tool and vendor management, including evaluation, procurement, and lifecycle administration
• Partner with engineering, InfoSec, Legal, and Procurement to ensure AI is adopted safely, responsibly, and in compliance with governance standards
• Provide hands-on coaching and support for teams adopting AI tools across business and scientific functions

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in technology, AI, digital transformation, or management consulting
• Hands-on fluency with leading LLM platforms (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and ability to prototype with low-code tools
• Working understanding of agentic AI concepts, including autonomous agents and human-in-the-loop design patterns
• Proven experience in use case portfolio management, including structured intake and ROI tracking
• Experience in vendor and tool management, including contracting and risk assessment with Legal and InfoSec
• Strong cross-functional execution skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences
• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or scientific field

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in life sciences, biotechnology, or healthcare
• Experience administering enterprise-scale AI platforms like Claude Enterprise or M365 Copilot
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001)
• Experience with AI workflow automation tools such as Zapier or Workato
