Associate Director, Acute Therapies

Responsibilities

• Lead global strategy and execution for the Immune Dysregulation and Acute Liver Failure therapies and products portfolio to accelerate growth and market access.
• Partner with the Senior Director to develop annual operating plans and translate strategic priorities into measurable growth objectives.
• Develop business cases and strategic recommendations for market prioritization, expansion sequencing, and footprint models.
• Own the global lifecycle roadmap, sequencing evidence generation, market access, pricing, and launch-readiness initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across Medical Affairs, Clinical, HEOR, Regulatory, R&D, and Commercial teams.
• Drive barrier-removal initiatives across the adoption funnel, including clinical pathway integration and economic value demonstration.
• Lead and develop a small global team, providing coaching and setting the operating rhythm for disciplined execution.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or MPH) preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in the medical device, pharma, or healthcare industry.
• 3+ years of experience in global portfolio management, product management, or commercialization roles.
• Proven experience working within a complex, global matrix environment.
• Demonstrated success in supporting therapy growth through evidence planning, launch readiness, and field enablement.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders across different functions and geographies without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in acute or critical care, specifically with exposure to Immune Dysregulation, Acute Liver Failure, or sepsis.
• Working knowledge of HEOR concepts, reimbursement pathways, and global evidence generation strategies.
• Strong business acumen regarding pricing, contracting, and market access across diverse global landscapes.
