Associate Director Accounts Receivable Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance operations related to Accounts Receivable and Revenue, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, SOX, and internal policies.
• Define and execute global and regional AR strategies aligned with business goals, cash-flow optimization, and risk management.
• Drive standardization and automation of invoicing, aging, and overdue receivables management.
• Own AR performance reporting and KPIs, including DSO, CEI, overdue percentages, and bad debt, to deliver actionable insights.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including process design, UAT, and post-implementation monitoring.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close activities related to receivables to ensure accurate reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop AR, billing, and collections teams to foster a high-performance, metrics-driven culture.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in finance operations (Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable) or FP&A.
• Proven experience at a management level with a track record of leading teams.
• Experience in driving and implementing process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting management and internal controls.
• Ability to communicate articulately with senior stakeholders and present to large audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Ideally holds a Master's in Business or a professional certification such as CPA or CFA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with online payment processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and various data analysis tools.
