Associate Director 24/7 Recognition

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute all functions of the 24/7 Recognition Program to meet donor needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for program donors, ensuring timely access to healthcare services and programs.
• Coordinate and schedule medically related appointments and facilitate patient participation in care decisions.
• Advocate for members by bridging knowledge gaps regarding diagnostic testing and planned treatments.
• Collaborate with Emergency Department and in-patient staff to facilitate smooth admissions and high-quality care transitions.
• Escort patients to various departments and assess needs for adaptive equipment to ensure safety.
• Capture and relay vital information to The Foundation to support philanthropic activities and member retention.
• Support new hires through training, orientation, and coaching to maintain high standards of customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s degree in Nursing required if hired after October 1, 2023).
• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Five years of recent patient care experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cumulative patient care experience in a variety of settings, including acute care, ambulatory care, or case management.
