Associate Designer - Dairy Applications

Responsibilities

• Support the Design team in developing flavor and ingredient solutions under the guidance of senior designers
• Participate in projects from concept creation through production
• Set up, conduct, and analyze basic tests and experiments to support development work
• Build an understanding of functional ingredients, flavoring materials, and customer applications
• Use IFF flavor and ingredient portfolios to search, select, and refine solutions
• Maintain compliance with IFF safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures

Requirements

• University or college degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology
• 1-2 years of experience in the industrial food, ingredient, or flavor industry
• Ability to work effectively in a lab and pilot plant environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized approach to managing tasks and a team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with flavor or ingredient solutions
• Exposure to customer technical support activities such as plant trials or troubleshooting
• Curiosity regarding innovation, technology, and market or consumer trends
