Associate, Demand Planner

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end demand planning process, ensuring accurate demand signals are developed and aligned with supplying sites.
• Develop, manage, and continuously improve statistical and consensus demand forecasts at the SKU level.
• Analyze historical sales, market trends, and promotional activities to enhance forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance to achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts.
• Proactively identify supply risks, constraints, and potential shortages to drive mitigation plans.
• Monitor finished goods inventory to prevent market shortages and mitigate risks related to excess or obsolete stock.
• Participate in monthly S&OP meetings with manufacturing plants to review master production schedules.
• Maintain constant relationships with manufacturing plants and manage consignment inventory with customers.

Requirements

• Graduate Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles (experience in CPG, food, or pharmaceuticals preferred).
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• Working knowledge of production planning (MRP) systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Kinaxis or equivalent advanced planning systems.
• APICS/CPIM/CSCP certification.
• Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
