Associate, Demand Planner

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end demand planning process to ensure accurate demand signals are developed and aligned with business requirements.
• Develop, manage, and improve statistical and consensus demand forecasts at the SKU level.
• Analyze historical sales, market trends, and promotional activities to enhance forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance to achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts.
• Monitor finished goods inventory to prevent market shortages and mitigate risks related to excess or obsolete stock.
• Communicate supply risks and potential shortages to relevant stakeholders and drive mitigation plans.
• Participate in monthly S&OP meetings with manufacturing plants to review master production schedules.
• Maintain constant relationships with plants and manage consignment inventory with customers.

Requirements

• Graduate Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles (experience in CPG, food, or pharmaceutical industries preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Kinaxis (or equivalent advanced planning systems).
• Working knowledge of production planning (MRP) systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS/CPIM/CSCP certification.
• Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Process improvement mindset with a focus on enhancing productivity.
