Nielen Schuman is a leading independent corporate finance advisory boutique in the Benelux. Established in 2002, the firm provides mergers & acquisitions, strategic advisory, capital raising, and capital restructuring services to a broad range of business owners, corporates, and investors.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients in arranging acquisition funding, refinancings, recapitalisations, and restructuring processes
• Conducting business and market analyses, including complex financial models and reports
• Preparing for and participating in client presentations and pitches
• Interacting with counterparts at clients, potential lenders, and professional advisors
• Coordinating and supporting the due diligence process and information requests
• Guiding, revising, and mentoring the work of analysts
• Building and maintaining an external network with prospective clients and lenders

Requirements

• Master's degree in finance or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in financial advisory, corporate finance, or investment banking
• Experience in leveraged finance, structured finance, or debt advisory preferred
• Fluency in English and German
• Experience with financing structures, LMA documentation, and Excel modelling
• Excellent analytical and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in leveraged finance or structured finance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
