Associate Dean for Educational Effectiveness

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in program review, assessment activities, and continuous quality improvement for the College of Nursing.
• Collaborate with nursing administration to develop, implement, and revise strategic long-range plans.
• Lead efforts in maintaining national and state accreditation and program approvals.
• Assist the Dean in preparing reports for institutional, state regulatory, and accreditation bodies.
• Manage data analytics, program assessment, and data management systems.
• Support faculty and staff development while assisting in resolving personnel and student issues.
• Fulfill teaching assignments and demonstrate a commitment to the integration of faith and learning.
• Contribute to scholarship through presentations, papers, and professional publications.

Requirements

• Earned Doctoral degree from an accredited university.
• Coursework in higher education, curriculum development, program assessment, or administration.
• Demonstrated academic leadership experience in large, complex programs.
• Minimum of three years of college or university teaching experience.
• Proven experience with curriculum development and oversight of regulatory/accreditation standards.
• Proficiency in data analysis regarding program outcome measurements.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness and active scholarship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing.
