About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the College of Pharmacy in curricular and programmatic development, innovation, and assessment.
  • Coordinate the accreditation process, including the development of self-study reports and interim reports.
  • Support faculty development related to teaching, pedagogy, and academic success.
  • Serve as a liaison between the College of Pharmacy and University senior leadership.
  • Oversee the implementation and assessment of the professional PharmD curriculum.
  • Manage assigned budgets and oversee the operations of academic and administrative units.
  • Collaborate with division chairs to draft faculty workloads and manage sabbatical and leave processes.
  • Conduct annual faculty evaluations to support the promotion and tenure process.
  • Engage in scholarly activities within areas of expertise.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated record of academic administration and program development.
  • Experience in program assessment and faculty development.
  • Eligibility for faculty appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and adapt within a dynamic academic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Pharmacy academia.
