Associate Data/Decision Scientist

Responsibilities

• Perform data preparation, cleaning, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
• Support the development of analytical models, data pipelines, and AI products
• Assist in implementing machine learning, statistical, and optimization models under senior guidance
• Translate analytical outputs into clear insights, visualizations, and reports
• Develop dashboards and reports using BI platforms to enhance performance visibility
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources
• Support the maintenance of reproducible and well-documented codebases
• Engage with stakeholders across operations, digital, and strategy teams to translate business questions into analytical tasks

Requirements

• UAE National (National Talent programme)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields (including internships)
• Proficiency in Python or SQL
• Strong foundation in statistics and linear algebra

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in energy, utilities, or financial analytics
• Familiarity with data analysis libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
• Experience with visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and data pipeline techniques
• Exposure to cloud platforms or big-data tools
