Associate Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines using Adverity, Supermetrics, Fivetran, and Python
• Map and automate workflows between SharePoint, BigQuery, and Power BI
• Use Google Apps Script and VBA Macros to streamline internal business processes
• Develop and optimize SQL logic within GCP BigQuery to ingest and structure marketing datasets
• Implement dbt (Data Build Tool) for modular and version-controlled data transformations
• Apply Dimensional Modeling (Kimball) to structure data for efficiency
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI and Looker Studio
• Implement automated validation rules and "Data Health" alerts to ensure data quality

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting automation, or data operations
• Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions)
• Experience with data transformation using dbt
• Experience maintaining automated data pipelines (Adverity, Supermetrics, or API connectors)
• Exposure to scripting for automation (Python, VBA, or Google Apps Script)
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud (BigQuery)
• Advanced Power BI or Looker Studio development skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
