About the role
Responsibilities
- Design data workflows including collection, ETL, analysis, and visualization across structured and semi-structured datasets
- Apply advanced analytical techniques to identify patterns of fraud, corruption, misconduct, and financial crime
- Implement reproducible and auditable analytical workflows to ensure outputs withstand regulatory and legal scrutiny
- Work with complex enterprise data such as ERP systems, transactional data, and communications to reconstruct events
- Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, defensible insights for legal counsel, regulators, and senior executives
- Maintain rigorous documentation of data sources, transformations, and methodologies to establish clear audit trails
Requirements
- Strong academic background in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics)
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, preferably Python
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and deriving actionable insights
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, rigorous approach and high attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consulting, forensic analytics, or data-driven investigations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or transactional datasets
- Exposure to fraud detection, financial crime analytics, or compliance monitoring
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and professional development environments (e.g., VS Code)
- Professional proficiency in French, German, or Arabic
