About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a framework of key cybersecurity controls and evidence owned by Information Security personnel
  • Maintain a global list of cybersecurity requirements to evaluate for alignment and compliance
  • Engage with global subject matter experts to update control frameworks and develop testing steps
  • Facilitate testing of control design and effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Perform and document compliance assessments against global regulations
  • Create and enhance presentations for senior management, clients, and regulators
  • Support regulatory developments by monitoring new requirements and preparing summary reports
  • Evaluate third-party assessments of the Information Security function
  • Propose updates to cybersecurity policies, standards, and process improvements

Requirements

  • BS in MIS, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of active uniformed service
  • Less than 5 years of civilian work experience
  • 5+ years in IT Risk, IT Governance, or IT Audit roles (or 4+ years in related consulting)
  • 3+ years of experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, CRI, or CAT

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
