Associate Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Support customers with empathy regarding financial products and services through various channels including phone, text, chat, and video chat
• Resolve customer inquiries and problems in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Perform routine tasks while adhering to strict work guidelines, policies, and regulations
• Navigate multiple computer systems and applications to find information and manage accounts
• Escalate complex questions and issues to senior employees as needed
• Collaborate with team members to share information and ensure a best-in-class customer experience

Requirements

• 6+ months of Customer Service, Financial Services, or Contact Center support experience
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications simultaneously
• Ability to work on-site in San Antonio, TX
• Ability to attend the full duration of the required 7-week training period
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a metric-driven call center environment
• Ability to listen, elicit information efficiently, and resolve complex issues
• Knowledge of internet, mobile, and social media technology
• Military experience involving complex issue resolution via written or verbal communication
