Associate, Corporate Strategy & Finance

Responsibilities

• Solve complex business problems across marketing, merchandising, product development, and inventory to drive data-driven decisions.
• Support corporate development initiatives, including mergers & acquisitions, capital raises, and strategic partnerships through modeling and negotiation support.
• Lead the preparation of strategic financial reporting and ongoing forecasting to provide management with visibility into financial performance.
• Own special projects and analyses end-to-end, moving from ambiguous questions to actionable recommendations with minimal supervision.
• Play a key role in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment across all departments and corporate strategy.
• Develop sophisticated dashboards and performance tracking for various business analytics, including marketing, finance, and operations KPIs.
• Leverage an AI-first mindset to integrate AI tools with traditional analytical methods to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, or similar strategic finance/corporate development roles.
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency with extensive experience building complex financial models and dashboards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage through ambiguity and limited data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex results for stakeholders.
• Proven project management capabilities and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a startup or new business environment.
• Deep curiosity regarding market trends, consumer brands, and the application of AI in business operations.
