About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with corporate governance and transactional matters including board resolutions and capital table management
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with customers and vendors
- Update public-facing terms of service and advise product teams on privacy, data security, and AI issues
- Support employment matters including offer letters and commission plans
- Drive the implementation of legal forms and processes to support scalability
- Monitor applicable laws and regulations impacting business practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a law firm or technology company
- J.D. from a well-regarded law school
- Active bar membership in at least one state
- Knowledge of software and technology
- Strong drafting and negotiating skills
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects autonomously
