Associate Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and program building automation systems, including site-specific configurations and control algorithms
• Create clear design documentation and technical information for project teams
• Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems
• Test programming and interfaces prior to implementation
• Provide technical support to sales representatives to ensure customer needs are met
• Document and communicate system designs and revisions
• Support functional testing for building systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, OR an Associate degree/High School Diploma with 2+ years of HVAC or building automation experience
• Ability to travel to client locations approximately 50% of the time
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders or use lift equipment over 8 feet

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or related industries
• Knowledge of Automated Logic software suites and engineering tools
• Understanding of IP networks and third-party communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, etc.)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio or similar software
• Ability to translate technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences
