Associate - Control & Settlements

Responsibilities

• Perform daily investigation, reconciliation, and settlement of Onshore Special Dealing for GIA using system-generated reports.
• Investigate and clear outstanding ledger items promptly to ensure accuracy.
• Execute ledger reconciliations by passing entries via defined portals.
• Monitor and action daily items received via the work hub queue.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss reporting for Senior Management.
• Monitor and record Deal Correction transactions from the Sonata system daily.
• Investigate and resolve exceptional dealing breaks in automated journeys.
• Suggest and drive process improvements in collaboration with the team lead.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• 1-3 years of experience in finance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of FCA Client Money regulations.
• Subject matter expertise in control and settlement processes.
