Associate, Containment

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams on containment technical design and development
• Follow technical engineering design guides and principles and adapt IOC requirements to local practices
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop cost effective and consolidated containment
• Support the development and review processes for plans to meet departmental milestones
• Integrate and influence venue design to allow for efficient containment solutions
• Support infrastructure requirements for Broadcast, Energy, Technology and Venue Development
• Advance engineering designs through increasing levels of detail for construction drawings
• Coordinate with Finance and Procurement teams to prepare costs and identify savings opportunities
• Ensure compliance within workstream to Health & Safety regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years experience with large infrastructure integration
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture or equivalent work experience
• Advanced knowledge of engineering and collaboration tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, or SolidWorks
• Proficiency with productivity tools like Office360, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Autodesk Cloud
• Knowledge of fundamental project management concepts including scope, schedule, and budget
• Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work onsite in a Downtown Los Angeles-based office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containment, temporary pop-up, event, or experiential installation design
• Experience with large venues, sporting events, temporary infrastructure, and overlay
• Experience with local or major sporting events such as the Olympics or World Cup
• Familiarity with temporary infrastructure projects in addition to permanent construction
