Associate Consumer Underwriter

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, negotiate, and decision consumer auto finance offerings within established underwriting policies
• Increase dealer portfolio revenue by applying sound underwriting judgment and risk management principles
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers through effective communication and market awareness
• Leverage high-touch and high-tech capabilities to negotiate contracts and drive business results
• Maintain flexibility to work evening hours, weekends, and perform limited travel as required

Requirements

• High school Diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
• Proven time leadership and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of experience in auto finance consumer underwriting or financial services
• Familiarity with the auto finance industry, consumer credit, and trend analysis
• Ability to perform technical-based activities and apply fundamental financial principles
