About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to high-profile energy decarbonisation and electrification projects as a Technical Lead or Project Director.
  • Advise clients on site decarbonisation strategies, including pathway development, option appraisal, and implementation planning.
  • Deliver energy modelling to support decarbonisation, electrification, and investment decision-making.
  • Support clients in navigating electricity connections, capacity constraints, and grid engagement.
  • Advise on energy procurement strategies and their interaction with operational resilience.
  • Lead bids and proposals, including the development of win strategies and technical inputs.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in energy decarbonisation advisory, specifically regarding site decarbonisation and electrification.
  • Experience working with complex energy users such as data centres, ports, or airports.
  • Capability in energy and decarbonisation modelling with the ability to translate technical data into client insights.
  • Solid understanding of power systems, connection processes, and current policy developments.
  • Experience in energy procurement strategy or supporting such strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead technical delivery and contribute to business development and bid activities.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
