About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects across a global portfolio, including offices, R&D labs, and cleanroom facilities
- Oversee all project phases from early-stage programming and cost estimating through construction completion and close-out
- Develop project charters, define scope, and conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, ROI analyses, and budget forecasts while managing financial controls
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including IT, Security, EHS, and Facilities Design teams
- Develop RFPs, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with design/build firms and general contractors
- Coordinate permitting activities and ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and regulations
- Manage project schedules, milestones, and change orders to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing construction projects from conception through close-out
- Proven ability to develop, manage, and report budgets for large capital projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Procore, and Smartsheet
- Ability to operate effectively in a global environment and collaborate across international time zones
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial, laboratory, or semiconductor facilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with LEED and international building codes
- PMP certification or equivalent project-management credential
- Licensed Architect or Engineer in California
