Associate Construction Materials Testing Technician

Responsibilities

• Collect construction materials samples from various job sites
• Perform tests and inspections to assess material properties and integrity
• Use specialized equipment following established procedures and standards
• Document findings and communicate results to project managers and stakeholders
• Travel to various job sites in all types of terrain and weather conditions

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in construction observation, inspection, testing, or a related field
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and work safely

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree from a technical or four-year school
• American Concrete Institute (ACI) Grade 1 certification
• International Code Council (ICC) Nuclear Gauge certification
• Applicable Department of Transportation/Road certifications
