About the role

Responsibilities

  • Research and fact-find by reviewing technical and non-technical documentation, including construction schedules, blueprints, engineering drawings, and financial data.
  • Perform detailed data analysis on large datasets using multiple analytical methods and tools.
  • Quantify construction delays and cost overruns using analytical methods to support expert reports.
  • Manage large datasets in Excel and/or Access to prepare comprehensive work products for client deliverables.
  • Assist with client proposals and business development activities.
  • Manage time effectively to meet strict client deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in building construction, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 1-4 years of experience in construction, construction consulting, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical material to non-technical audiences.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with construction scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • Experience with legal disputes, including arbitration or litigation.
  • Ability to travel as needed (generally under 15%).
