Associate, Commercial Real Estate

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the profitable growth and quality of the Commercial Real Estate Banking portfolio by developing complex credit solutions for Real Estate Investment Fund clients.
• Participate in the "Deal Team" to perform risk analysis, due diligence, deal structuring, credit pricing, and negotiation.
• Prepare credit application proposals and provide sound recommendations for credit solutions.
• Model building/development of covenant patterns, vetting, and stress testing of projections.
• Ensure accurate communication of authorization terms and supervise the timely implementation of loan documentation and security.
• Liaise with Global Risk Management through the credit decision-making process.
• Maintain effective business controls to meet obligations regarding operational, regulatory, and AML/ATF risk.

Requirements

• University Degree in Business or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Banking.
• Fluency in both French and English (essential for collaborating with national teams and local clients).
• Strong credit, financial, and accounting analysis skills.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a standard office environment with occasional non-standard hours and limited local travel.
