Associate CNC Machinist (Mill)

Responsibilities

• Operate and support CNC machining, including setup, basic programming edits, tool changes, and part inspection
• Use manual machining tools such as mills, lathes, bandsaws, and grinders to support part finishing and fixture creation
• Learn and apply precision measurement techniques to verify part quality and tolerances
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines and shop equipment
• Contribute to shop organization and process improvements

Requirements

• 1+ years of CNC operation experience OR completion of formal technical training
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30lbs unassisted
• Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC mills or lathes with basic G-code understanding
• Exposure to metal additive manufacturing and post-processing techniques
• Familiarity with manual machining, welding, or fabrication of stainless steel, aluminum, or nickel alloys
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, cranes, and forklifts
• Experience interpreting blueprints and using precision measuring instruments
