Associate Cloud Architect

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS environments using EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, and S3.
• Lead end-to-end workload migrations from on-premises, Azure, or GCP to AWS using tools like MGN, DMS, and DataSync.
• Implement multi-account setups and governance using AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and Landing Zones.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and automate delivery via CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
• Containerize legacy workloads and manage deployments using Docker, ECS (Fargate/EC2), and EKS.
• Execute database migrations for MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle to RDS, Aurora, or DynamoDB.
• Design connectivity solutions including Site-to-Site VPNs and Direct Connect.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security and cost optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AWS infrastructure design and cloud migration.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional and/or AWS Security Specialty (Mandatory).
• Proven expertise in Terraform (modules, remote state) and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS).
• Hands-on experience with database migration services (DMS) and networking (VPC, VPN, Route 53).
• Proficiency in automation scripting using Bash or Python.
• Deep understanding of the AWS shared responsibility model and security best practices.
