Requirements

About the role
Responsibilities
- Organize and order supplies for surgical training and manage equipment within the Surgical Training Center
- Assist with instructional labs, including the setup and breakdown of materials and cadaver/model management
- Support the instruction of veterinary students in technical skills related to the surgical curriculum
- Assist with the intake and discharge of animals used in spay/neuter labs
- Coordinate the execution of OSCEs and other educational activities
- Provide oversight and assignment of tasks to student workers
- Assist with research projects and the development of new training models
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, OR an Associate's degree in veterinary technology with 4 years of experience, OR Vet Tech certification with 4 years of experience, OR 7 years of similar experience
- Valid class E driver's license
- Experience in small animal or large animal clinical settings
- Demonstrated skills in surgical preparation and patient care (pre-op/post-op)
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, kneeling, and bending for prolonged periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience
- Organizational or management experience demonstrating the ability to oversee a dedicated space, equipment, and staff
