Associate Clinical Care Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage patient referrals for both internal and external practice needs
• Facilitate patient calls and voicemails regarding concerns, questions, and refills
• Document all telephone encounters and referral notes accurately in patient charts
• Coordinate with providers to advise on patient needs and follow-up care
• Perform administrative tasks including creating Tricare accounts, processing e-faxes, and managing email/voicemails
• Ensure provider signatures are obtained on results before scanning documents

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Active medical assistant certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or RMA) or CNA
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
• 1+ years of experience in a medical office setting
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW)
• 1+ years of direct clinical experience
• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Knowledge of insurance carriers and managed care plans
