Associate Claims Adjuster

Responsibilities

• Complete a structured onboarding program in insurance principles and property claims
• Acquire applicable adjuster licensing through a dedicated course
• Establish new claims by taking First Notice of Loss
• Request appraisals, estimates, and cause & origin reports for investigations
• Communicate with customers via phone, text, email, or mail
• Review estimates and issue payments according to policy contracts
• Maintain high-quality claim files with thorough documentation and compliance
• Assist in establishing and improving claims workflows and processes
• Support the team during catastrophe events

Requirements

• Experience in customer-facing roles requiring strong communication and problem-solving
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate concisely and diplomatically
• Above average computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage large workloads
• Self-driven mindset with a willingness to assist in various tasks
• Interest in working in an early-stage tech environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior project management experience

• Base salary of $65,000 - $85,000 plus meaningful equity
• $5,000 annual shift differential for 10am-7pm CST shift
