Associate Chemist - Wet Chemistry

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled wet chemistry analytical procedures accurately and precisely
• Apply GMP/GLP standards in all areas of responsibility
• Write and update SOPs and analytical methods
• Troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and procedures
• Communicate results and interpretations to clients
• Maintain superior QC performance and verify assigned analyses
• Train technicians in analytical procedures, instrumentation, and safety
• Coordinate workflows to meet hold times, rush, and standard turnaround times
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field (equivalent experience accepted)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Computer skills and ability to stand at lab bench for long periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Lab experience with benchwork and instrumentation
• Strong problem-solving and statistical understanding
• Excellent writing skills and ability to interact with co-workers
