About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze environmental samples for PFAS and other analytical methods
- Perform QC review, data workup, and assembly of supporting documentation
- Maintain laboratory equipment and dispose of chemical wastes using approved methods
- Follow EPA, governing agency, and company SOPs in all testing activities
- Prepare standard solutions and reagents, and use PC-based word processing and spreadsheet programs
- Work second shift (2pm–10:30pm, Sunday–Thursday) and overtime as workload requires
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
- Proficiency with computers and PC software
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
- Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with sample preparation
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting
