Associate Chemist - PFAS Prep

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples for PFAS and other analytical methods
• Perform QC review, data workup, and assembly of supporting documentation
• Maintain laboratory equipment and dispose of chemical wastes using approved methods
• Follow EPA, governing agency, and company SOPs in all testing activities
• Prepare standard solutions and reagents, and use PC-based word processing and spreadsheet programs
• Work second shift (2pm–10:30pm, Sunday–Thursday) and overtime as workload requires

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
• Proficiency with computers and PC software
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with sample preparation
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting
