Associate Chemist

Responsibilities

• Perform prep and analysis of samples for various analytical methods
• Analyze and prep samples and QC for routine testing
• Review, work up, and assemble supporting data for work performed
• Perform basic maintenance on routine laboratory equipment
• Follow SOPs required by EPA, governing agencies, clients, and internal QC
• Prepare standard solutions and reagents as needed
• Dispose of chemical wastes using approved methods
• Work safely and efficiently under GMP/GLP guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field (equivalent experience accepted)
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry with analytical chemistry coursework
• Previous lab experience
• Experience with LC/MS or GC/MS instrumentation
• Environmental science coursework or experience
