About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform prep and analysis of samples for various analytical methods
- Analyze and prep samples and QC for routine testing
- Review, work up, and assemble supporting data for work performed
- Perform basic maintenance on routine laboratory equipment
- Follow SOPs required by EPA, governing agencies, clients, and internal QC
- Prepare standard solutions and reagents as needed
- Dispose of chemical wastes using approved methods
- Work safely and efficiently under GMP/GLP guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field (equivalent experience accepted)
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- BS in Chemistry with analytical chemistry coursework
- Previous lab experience
- Experience with LC/MS or GC/MS instrumentation
- Environmental science coursework or experience
