Associate Category Manager I - Feedstock Logistics

Responsibilities

• Manage feedstock logistics and warehousing for Titanium Ores and Fluorspar to ensure efficient supply chains.
• Coordinate with planners and third-party brokers to schedule ore shipments in accordance with production schedules.
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records to ensure adequate supply to manufacturing plants.
• Manage relationships with junior miners and major accounts, including negotiating spot POs and developing multi-year contracts.
• Monitor and report on port activities, warehousing, ground logistics, and surveying to ensure contract compliance.
• Analyze expenditures, shipping costs, and warehouse options to identify optimization and cost-saving opportunities.
• Perform modeling and analysis to drive tactical and strategic shipping decisions and provide market intelligence on the global dry bulk shipping market.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to create macros and pivot tables.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement-related roles.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment with an understanding of supply planning.
• Experience using SAP.
• Experience with linear programming.
